SIHH 2014: A. Lange & Söhne - Two jewels of the highest precision

In the diamond-studded white gold case, the two new SAXONIA models offer a fascinating combination of watchmaking precision, craftsmanship and feminine elegance. Among members of the SAXONIA watch family, the external appearance of the mirrors is their inner life. They offer the perfect combination of mechanical precision, perfected craftsmanship and harmonious design. This also applies to the two new SAXONIA models in white (reference 878.029) and in Braun (reference 878.038).With them, A. Lange & Söhne presents two brilliant ladies' watches, which focus on the essentials. Featuring slender hands and bar indices of rhodium-plated gold, the shimmering dial of white or brown-colored mother-of-pearl shows the time with hour, minute and small seconds. At 12 o'clock is the lettering "A. Lange & Söhne ", its optical counterweight is the small second at 6 o'clock. The cool luster of 18-carat white gold emphasizes the elegant lines of the second-hand case, which gives 60 diamonds a brilliant brilliance. Bracelets of white or brown crocodile finish, matching the dial color, round off the glamorous appearance.

Inside the SAXONIA the mechanical manufac- turing caliber L941.2 provides a precise time measurement with manual lifting. Fully reared, it provides a 45-hour reserve. In the factory, the high aesthetic requirements continue into the smallest detail. The elaborately hand-finished surfaces as well as the triple plate of nickel silver decorated with a Glashütter band cut are just as expressive of the highest perfection as the screwed Goldchatons and the handgravierte balance cock. Through the sapphire glass bottom, the viewer sees a small work of art whose mechanical quality is in no way inferior to the radiant appearance of the watch.
